Joe Simon, the co-creator of Captain America rendered this parody of Nancy and Sluggo as hippies. I'm not sure that Ernie Bushmiller would appreciate this depiction of his well loved classic characters but it is obvious that Joe Simon had fun doing it. This Summer of Love piece portrays Nancy (nude and tatooed!) and Sluggo cooking up some Kool-Aid for the needle.
